With this series we will be able to revive the titles that are competing for statuettes at the 96th edition of the Oscars. From Friday 23rd February to Sunday 10th March, we will recover gems like Anatomy of a Fall, Oppenheimer, Perfect Days or Past Lives. We will wait for you.

On Saturday 24th February at 11.00 am, the NGO The Hands Up Project presents a matinee of cinema and theatre from Palestine.

CineCiutat organizes a series with ten of the most nominated films for the 2024 Goya Awards. The cycle will take place between 19th January and 9th February. Thanks to it, we will have the chance to see again on the big screen titles such as '20.000 Species of Bees' , 'Robot Dreams', 'Close Your Eyes' or 'Un Amor'.

Plan your calendar well in advance, because the winners and nominees of the Golden Globe Awards 2024 are coming to our screens starting this week.

Our CineCiutat, Bon Dia! programme brings some of the most notable premieres og the year in the morning hours for early risers. On Sunday 28th January, you will have the opportunity to see The Holdovers, Poor Things and Perfect Days.

Our first Balearic film release of the year will be Trenc d'Alba, directed by the Catalan Anna Llargués and edited by the Mallorcan Aina Martos Mas. The free screening of this short film selected at Cannes and awarded at the Seminci will be on Friday 12th January at 7 pm.

Say goodbye to the year in the best possible way at CineCiutat: watching a film classic chosen together (The Apartment, by Billy Wilder), to be followed by a bell-ringing and pre-grape ceremony. The event is free, although we will accept donations. Reserve your tickets from this Wednesday 27th December.

The International Migrant's Day is celebrated on 18th December. For this reason, on Tuesday 19th December at 5 pm we will host at CineCiutat the screening of the short film Agentes de Cambio, organized by Médicos del Mundo.

The first film by Mallorcan Antonina Obrador, Quest, starring Goya winner Enric Auquer and filmed entirely on the island, hits theatres after its passing through festivals. The team behind the film will present their work and participate in a discussion with the public at the preview that we will hold on Wednesday 29th November at 8 pm.

Every Thursday from 23rd November to 28th December we will go over the filmography of Martin Scorsese with the Scorseseason series. A retrospective of six films which is an illustration that there have been few genres that have resisted the filmmaker, from comedy to musicals and from family films to gangster thrillers.
