When Dune became a phenomenon, Frank Herbert found that many readers had taken it the wrong way round: they saw a hero where he had placed a warning. He wrote Dune Messiah to correct the misunderstanding, and that book spares no one, least of all Paul Atreides.

Out of it comes Dune: Part Three, the film with which Denis Villeneuve closes the trilogy. Paul is no longer the young man learning to walk across the sand without waking the worms: he is emperor now, and the holy war he set in motion has spent years burning planets in his name. The film opens seventeen years after the end of the previous part.

Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem return, and Robert Pattinson joins them. Music by Hans Zimmer, cinematography by Linus Sandgren.
