On Saturday 24th February at 11.00 am, the NGO The Hands Up Project presents a matinee of cinema and theatre from Palestine.

It has been years since we have heard the voices of Palestinian children. For years they have been silenced. At CineCiutat, on February 24 at 11.00 am, you can feel these voices through online theatre plays created and performed by their authors - all of them Palestinian children between 12 and 16 years old. These works are I Can, Welcome to Earth and The Well, which have been recorded live with Zoom.

We will also have the opportunity to see two short films, The Present, by Farah Nabulsi, a BAFTA winner and Oscar nominee, and Ave Maria, also an Oscar nominee.
