La Fiesta del Cine is back at CineCiutat just before summer. From the 8th to the 11th of June, tickets will cost just €3.50.

The timing couldn't be better. It coincides with the release of Los Ilusos 13+13, where Jonás Trueba returns to his debut feature thirteen years later, now in colour, to remind us that cinema can also be rewritten. Joining the line-up are Rebuilding, Max Walker-Silverman's neo-western with a Josh O'Connor who loses everything in the wildfires and has to rebuild from scratch. The Drama, Kristoffer Borgli's dark comedy with Zendaya and Robert Pattinson facing a wedding that blows up in their hands, Corredora, Laura García Alonso's award-winning debut from Málaga about mental health in elite sport, and Love Me Tender, Anna Cazenave Cambet's adaptation of Constance Debré's novel, with a Vicky Krieps fighting for custody of her son while starting a new life. 

And for the bravest, Backrooms: A24's take on the viral internet phenomenon, directed by twenty-year-old Kane Parsons.
