It is always an honor to be the headquarters for the Mostra de cinema del Fons Mallorquí de cooperació, an audiovisual initiative to publicize different realities of the place where we live and get to know those places that we will never visit, but not for that reason they are less important. At a time when tensions on the fence are growing, one must stop to see what it really means to be an immigrant.
From Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 we will have a daily screening of the selection that the Fons has made for this Mostra.

SYNOPSIS: The north of France. They move the factory where Hervé works. He is the only worker who accepts it because he yearns for another destiny: to become a fisherman and transmit this passion to his son. The outskirts of Tunis, where they install the factory. Foued, unemployed, believes that working in the factory will allow him to have money to heal his mother and, above all, to win over the girl he loves. The trajectories of Hervé and Foued are similar and are reflected.

The directors hand you their camera so that you are not only in front, but also behind it. He has been trying to jump the impassable fence for more than a year. After each failed attempt, return to Mount Gurugú. Returning to Mali is not an option for Abou, who is increasingly determined to achieve the dream of a better life in Europe.

DEM DEM !: A Senegalese fisherman named Matar finds a Belgian passport on a Dakar beach and decides to use it. On the way, he meets N’Zibou, a mad scientist who measures the clouds. He asks Matar about his search for identity. One fine day, Matar disappears.
