In Kenya, this is a sad reality, this is the story of one of these people and a portrait of the fearsome mark that colonialism has left on the lands in which they have lived.
When Karisa's grandmother is accused of witchcraft, he travels to Mombasa, in her rural home, to see who is behind the accusation. It turns out that the letter comes from a member of his own family.
