Once again, before lowering the curtain, we asked you something very simple: to choose the film you wanted to say goodbye to the year with.
The winning film for the December 30th screening is “Die Hard.”
A movie that has sparked debate for decades (is it or is it not a Christmas film?) and that, precisely because of that, has become part of our collective imagination.
The screening will be free, with pay-what-you-can admission: everyone can contribute what they wish or what they are able to. There will be cinephile countdowns, grapes, and the shared feeling of having made it here together.
And above all, thank you.
Thank you for being with us throughout the year, for filling the theatres, for asking questions at post-screening talks, for debating films on the stairways, and for defending cinema as a living space. We close the year the way we like it best: together, in the dark, watching the same screen.
