There is a discussion that is repeated repeatedly throughout our lives: What is better, the book or the movie?
It is not that we do not marry anyone, but we believe that this whole thing is a little more complicated than reducing it to a mathematical constant in which one is better than the other.
There are a thousand ways to make movies and write books, some better than others.
To help us understand these vital complexities, we will use the pair formed by Marta Pérez and Cati Moyà, who present the well-known series Literatura amb crispetes, which takes place in Rata Corner.
And it is Literatura amb crispetes who program our cycle for the month of May.
Every Thursday of the month we will screen a film that has been made based on a literary work and that Marta Pérez and Cati Moyà will present.
Our first screening will be Luca Guadagnino's beautiful work Call me by your name, based on the homonymous book by André Aciman.
The session will be on Thursday 06-05 at 20:15.
Tickets will cost € 6 for Ordinary and € 4 for CineCiutat members. You can reserve them in the following link.
