This summer CineCiutat turned 13 and we wanted to celebrate with a collective gift: a 4K HDR projector. A projector capable of bringing classics back to the big screen with all their original strength, as they were intended. Since July you have already noticed the difference, but now it is time to officially welcome it with the 4K Cycle.

A journey from September to October with titles that range from the oceans of ‘Tiburón’ to the intensity of ‘Heat’, from the New York of ‘Manhattan’ to the stars of ‘Interstellar’, passing through the excesses of ‘Showgirls’, the revolution of ‘The Matrix’ and the dystopian future of ‘Blade Runner: The Final Cut’.

Projectors change and technology improves, but the essence has been the same for more than a century: a room, a screen and a group of people willing to watch films collectively. Our mouths are watering when we say that Mallorca is becoming a city with 4K screenings of restored and remastered copies for the first time; for us, it is the biggest declaration of love for cinema.
