There are ways of shaping a city that don’t rely on big headlines, but on something much more everyday and valuable: sitting down to think together.
With this idea, “Dialogues with the City” returns — our series of open talks where we invite experts from different disciplines to help us look at the world with more calm, more context and — why not — more curiosity.

Throughout November and December, CineCiutat will open its doors to host two sessions born from a desire to embrace plurality, quality and diverse perspectives. Culture, science, tradition, technology or art — themes that shape us and that, when shared in community, take on a different dimension.

The format is simple and radical at the same time: experts who explain, audiences who ask, and conversations built collectively. An accessible space, with free admission and measures designed so no one is left out. And yes, we will also gather data and impressions: we want to understand what these dialogues contribute and how we can help them grow.

“Dialogues with the City” aims to be exactly that: a small civic laboratory — rigorous and approachable — to rethink our environment through culture and critical thinking.
And because ideas flow even better when shared with a small treat, each session will include catering by Sabor Mallorca and drinks by Puig, making the debate an even more welcoming space.
