Writer Paolo Cognetti makes his directorial debut with this feature film in which, together with Laki, the dog with whom he keeps each other company, he climbs to the highest elevations of Monte Rosa, driven by the desire to understand why water no longer reaches the house where he lives. Along the way, he meets people he has known for a long time, who explain to him what it means to them to live in the mountains.
