More than a century ago, Flosi Björnsson and her siblings isolated themselves at the foot of Iceland’s largest glacier. Neither married nor had children; they dedicated their lives to the glacier before anyone spoke of melting. The farm has remained closed until now. Photographer Ragnar Axelsson returns and invokes Flosi’s voice, which attracts pilgrims. The glacier sings a requiem under a white shroud.
