Synopsis

Fiction short film session.

Los domingos que quedan. (Manolo Pavón, 17’. Spain. 2024). August 1993. Dani has just turned 13. His family moves to a house in the suburbs. The discovery of an abandoned box in his new closet takes Dani to Miguel, a much-needed example missing in his life.

Caçada. (Carme Fuentes Aguiló. 10’. Spain - Mallorca. 2024). In Mallorca at the end of the 19th century, Joana is having a secret love affair with another girl, Aina. The pressure of family relationships and, above all, the suffocation of her partner will gradually make Joana stop being a person and become a sheep, who obediently loves her lover.

AyÜn. (Dèlia Penney Biddle Bris. 18’. Spain - Mallorca. 2022). Ayün is in bed with their partner, Sky, after a night of partying. The protagonist remembers their childhood in a rural and community environment where gender roles were not established and, therefore, children lived without having to fit into them. Ayün is happy in the community, since they can express themselves freely, especially with their best friend, Awkan.

Uranites. (Marina Arenas. 8’. Spain. 2023). Iria and Satya land in a town in Seville with the aim of establishing intergalactic contact between Uranus and Earth. The mission requires finding a spokesperson to deliver the Delta-Tig Zero Communications Sphere. On their journey, they will discover that this planet is not as their studies reflected.

Collage. (Màrius Conrotto Díaz. 10’. Spain. 2024). Scientific studies indicate that there are six signs in human behavior that indicate when two people are flirting. Two workers in an art gallery are going to discover them.

Nocturnas. (Pau Canivell, Maria Sánchez, Rubén García. 18’. Spain. 2024). Luna runs away from home in the middle of the night. In an unexpected encounter with a group of drag queens, she redefines her concept of family.

Leo. (Fernando Reinaldos. 14’. USA, Spain. 2023). On the last day before Leo moves to Los Angeles, he and Kai hide out at the sports center where they've always played basketball, which becomes Leo's last chance to confess how much he likes his best friend Kai.

Despide a tu Fuckboi. (Carlos Jiménez. 9’. Spain. 2023). Ulises meets David again, an almost-something he can't forget, one night on a street in the centre of Madrid. An inevitable return to past dynamics will make him wonder if this relationship can have a future.
