Lis. (Caterina Llabrés Massanet, 10 minutes, 2024) A reunion of a childhood friendship and the union of two artistic expressions. Lis, a fashion designer, reunites with Caterina, a filmmaker, to make a dress for the documentary's premiere. An opportunity to learn about her personal and professional transition over the years.
Guaret. (Josep Alorda Roca, 17 minutes, 2024) Pedro, the son of a mother from Burgos and a father from Mallorca, finds solace in Huguet's work. The poems allow him to remember his father and connect with his roots, even though he doesn't fully understand the words in Mallorcan. This experience inspires Pedro to search for his identity.
Segregats. (Pau Gelabert Juan, 7', 2024) One afternoon, Mateu waits for Gabriel to say goodbye at the station. Gabriel is leaving to study abroad. When the time comes to say goodbye, an intense argument brings to light a conflict between love, personal decisions, and the weight of one's roots.
Diverse House. (Carmen Vidal, 28', 2024) In Paraguay, a country where homophobia and discrimination against trans people are all too common, there is a unique refuge: Diverse House. Diverse House is a symbol of hope and dignity for all people, regardless of their gender identity.
Valeria, Gerard, Gery. (José Aragón, 9', 2024) Gery is a 13-year-old trans teenager, whose transition, for some, might seem hasty, but in this short film, we see through family videos how she grows alongside her twin sister Valeria, who is her great support.
おめでとう Omedetō. (M.A. Cardona, 25’. 2024) Two best friends, Óscar and Iván, during the latter’s 25th birthday, promise each other that, in a year, they will fulfill the dream of their lives: Travel to Japan together.
