Young and ambitious Nomi Malone (Elizabeth Berkley) travels to Las Vegas with the goal of becoming a star. She starts out working as a stripper, but ends up getting an audition to sing in the chorus of a show at the Stardust Casino, where starlet Cristal (Gina Gershon) works. However, Nomi soon realizes that the world around her is harsher and less glittering than she thought.
