Synopsis

Documentary short film session.

Don't Cry For Me All You Drag Queens (Kristal Sotomayor, 9’. USA, 2024). Don’t Cry For Me All You Drag Queens pays homage to the legendary Mother Cavallucci by weaving together the present and past to provide a striking portrait of belonging and memory. Poetically merging archival photographs and present day footage from a community drag show, the film sparks conversation about the modern day issues Mother Cavallucci revolutionized.

Para Carlos (Carlos Cipriano, 15’. Brasil, 2024). You left without giving me the chance to say goodbye. Now that I'm traveling alone, far from Goiás, I can say goodbye. I'm writing you this letter for that reason.

Tudo que importa (Coraci Ruiz, 20’. Brasil, 2024).  The story of three families of trans children and the processes of welcoming and celebrating their identities. These mothers, fathers and grandparents take a step forward and decide to fight for a society that respects and values diversity. Made by a filmmaker who is also the mother of a young trans person, the film connects generations by showing stories of love, transformation and learning.

Anhel De Llum (Alba Cros Pellisé, 11’. Spain, 2023). Through a radically personal look, the director explores Barcelona and its light. The sun as a brush that naturally highlights the intimacy of the rooms, friends, lovers and the people around her: her chosen family.

Después De Cristo 2024 (Lorenzo Carbonell Zaragozá, Irwin Lacröà., 17’. Spain, 2024). Gonzalo, who in his youth participated in the founding of the LGTB+ collective Lambda Valencia, was a Catholic priest and shows us his life experience. He also shows us how, at 73 years old, he faces his old age.

Los siento (Bella Cintra, 7’. Spain, 2023). We embark on a journey in which the deepest feelings of a group of trans people will guide, through their experiences, an intimate and sentimental relationship between two trans people.
